It was always a surprise when we checked in in another hotel. What kind of room do we get? How is the bed? Do we even have a window (hello Singapur)? Just in case you are wondering how the rooms look like at all the Hotels during our travel, we got you covered.
The more we head north, the higher the risk of flooding. We decided to leave Australia behind because of the weather, but not before we discover the enjoyable city of Brisbane.
16 days of exploring Australian’s East Coast in a camper van: rain forests, kangaroos, coastal views and lots of good coffee.
Even though we almost spent two weeks in Sydney in 2020, we haven’t seen much of the city. Time to change it! We visit Bondi, Manly and stroll around Surray Hills.
It took two years after we had to abort our world trip but we are finally back at it and starting world trip 2.0 in Singapore and Australia.
We traveled from the Philippines to Australia and discovered all the beauty of the south: Melbourne, Otway National Park and Great Ocean Road. We even spotted koala bears!
Our dream came true: we went island hopping in the Philippines and slept in bamboo huts on remote islands. A great way to travel from El Nido to Coron.
Week three in the Philippines and we are still loving it! We explored crystal clear lagoons, went on a kajak adventure and explored with palm trees overloaded tropical beaches.
This week we fell in love with the relaxed atmosphere and enthusiastic locals in Siquijor and enjoyed the diverse countryside and dreamy sunsets in Bohol.
We leave the huzzle and buzzle of Kuala Lumpur and arrive in one of my absolute bucket list destinations. We kicked off our stay in the Philippines with visiting lots of waterfalls and snorkling.
And then everything came different as planned. The corona virus changed everything for everybody. We got stuck in Sydney, locked in our hotel room, trying to get home.
From our beloved George Town, we travel to the tea plantations of Cameron Highlands and spend a day with Kais cousin in Kuala Lumpur. We love the diversity of Malaysia!
After 4 weeks in Thailand, we cross the border by boat to Malaysia. The second country of our world trip! We visited Koh Lipe, Langkawi and George Town.
We spent most of our 4th week relaxing, scooter riding and beach hopping on the ‘party island’ of Koh Phangan before we headed south to the island of Koh Lipe.
